About Us

At Green’s Produce & Plants, quality has been our goal since 1969 when owner Tom Baron arrived at market in the wee hours of morning to be the first to make his selection of produce from the farmers’ stalls. He traveled to local farms to get the freshest black-eyed peas, the best tasting tomatoes, or Parker County peaches. Mr. Baron hand-selects the best ferns, mums and other plants the growers have to offer.

Although Mr. Baron no longer works so many hours, he watches over  the operations in the capable hands of our operations manager, Patti White (Mr. Baron’s daughter) and our produce manager, Sean Price.  Mrs. White has worked with her dad since she was “knee high”.  Mr. Price has been learning from Mr. Baron since age fifteen.

Green’s Produce and Plants continues to provide high quality produce and plants to customers who visit from all over the state of Texas.  Many of our customers are third generation shoppers on a first-name basis with our staff.
